Frameset and Handlebar Warranty Policy

1) Scope and legal rights

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty provided by YOELEO for YOELEO-branded carbon frames and Handlebar(the “Products”). It is provided at no extra charge. Your rights under this Warranty are in addition to and separate from any legal rights you may have as a purchaser, which may vary by country/region, and this Warranty does not affect those rights.

Before riding, please read the product manual(s) and published technical guidelines for assembly, use, and maintenance. Warranty coverage applies when Products are used normally in accordance with such published guidelines.

2) Definitions

  • “Original Retail Purchaser” means the Product was purchased new for the first time from Yoeleo (direct) or an authorized Yoeleo dealer/distributor.
  • “Frameset” means a Yoeleo-branded carbon frame equipped with a Yoeleo-branded rigid fork (unless Yoeleo specifies otherwise for a particular model).
  • “Structural Integrity” refers to the load-bearing carbon structure (e.g., front triangle, rear triangle including seat stays/chain stays) and does not include paint, decals, or other cosmetic finishes.
  • “Date of Warranty Start”: the date of shipment (Yoeleo direct) or the original retail purchase date (authorized dealer), as supported by valid proof of purchase.

3) What is covered

Yoeleo warrants that the covered Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period, when used normally and maintained according to Yoeleo’s published instructions and guidelines (including technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications).

4) Warranty period (Carbon frames/framesets)

A) Purchases on or after 01/01/2023
  • Carbon frames, forks, and framesets: 6 years from the Date of Warranty Start.
B) Purchases before 01/01/2023
  • Carbon frames, forks, and framesets: 3 years from the Date of Warranty Start.
Paint, decals, and cosmetic finishes are not covered as structural integrity items.

5) Registration and proof of purchase

  • Registration is strongly recommended because it improves service and helps verify product information; however, proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.
  • Claims require: serial number, dated proof of purchase, and reasonable supporting evidence (photos/video and a description of the issue).

6) Remedies (what Yoeleo will do)

During the warranty period, Yoeleo will, at its option:
  1. Repair the Product; or
  2. Replace it with the same Product or the most similar product then available.
Because inventory and paint colors change, the exact replacement (including color/finish) may not be available. If replacement is approved, Yoeleo may require the Product to be returned before sending a replacement unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Warranty on repaired/replaced product: repaired or replacement items are covered for the remaining balance of the original warranty term (does not restart the full term).

7) Shipping, labor, and cost responsibility

  • Within 90 days of shipment: if a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Yoeleo provides replacement parts and covers outbound shipping for the warranty remedy.
  • After 90 days: if a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Yoeleo provides the warranty remedy (repair/replacement part), and shipping costs are borne by the customer (unless local law requires otherwise).
Notes:
  • Dealer labor and ancillary costs (bearing press-in, headset service, cable/hose re-routing, etc.) may vary by region and are not included unless explicitly authorized by Yoeleo.

8) What is NOT covered (exclusions)

This Warranty does not apply—and is void—if the damage is caused by:
  • Improper assembly or installation.
  • Crash/impact, neglect, misuse, abnormal or excessive use, improper repair, or improper maintenance.
  • Corrosion.
  • Alteration/modification, or installation of components/parts/accessories not intended for or compatible with the Product.
  • Failure to perform maintenance at appropriate intervals according to written instructions.
  • Defacing, modifying, obscuring, or removing the serial number.

9) Wear and tear / cosmetic items

Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs from normal riding and exposure, including scratches or cosmetic deterioration. Such items are not covered.
Examples (non-exhaustive):
  • Paint/graphics scratches, chips, fading, or decal wear
  • Bearings, bolts/threads, rubber parts, straps/pads, cables/housing, normal creaks/noises that indicate routine service needs.

10) How to start a warranty claim

To initiate a claim, contact Yoeleo (or your authorized Yoeleo dealer/distributor). The product will be reviewed, and you may be asked to provide photos/video and/or return the product for inspection.

11) If damage is not covered: Crash Replacement Program

Accidents happen. If the issue is determined to be non-warranty (e.g., impact damage), Yoeleo may offer a Crash Replacement Program allowing purchase of a replacement frame/frameset at a reduced price (program availability and discount level may vary by market).

12) Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This Warranty is the full statement of Yoeleo’s warranty for the Product. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yoeleo’s liability under this Warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the Product, and Yoeleo will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or losses.
